Covid 19 has crushed direct and retail sales but more and more people are buying online and this is your chance to get selling online at a total cost to you of €250 + VAT
See below a link to the Local Enterprise Office online trading voucher / Grant scheme. You can avail of a grant of €2,500 + VAT for a new eCommerce website providing you have 10 or less employees and are trading for more than 6 months. It is also suitable for companies with outdated eCommerce websites.
IN BRIEF: you get a Government grant to the value of €2500 towards your new e commerce web site or upgrade from regular web site to full e commerce / online sales capability.
In many cases the grant will cover all or most of the cost but any additional work or extras will be payable via your Contra Account.
The basic rules are:
The vouchers are targeted at businesses with the following profile:
- Limited or no e-commerce presence;
- 10 or less employees;
- Turnover less than €2m;
- Applicant business must be trading for at least 6 Months;
- Business must be located in the area covered by the LEO to whom they make their application i.e. LEOs cannot accept applications from businesses located outside their jurisdiction.
